Tata Nexon EV bookings open at NADA EV Expo 2022- Features, All Variants Price?

Introduction

Sipradi Trading Pvt Ltd, an authorized dealer of Tata Motors for Nepal, has opened the booking of Nexon EV at Nada EV Expo 2022 at a starting price of Rs.37,99,000.

In Nepal, Nexon EV is available in five different variants; XM, XZ+, XZ+ Lux, XZ+ Dark, and XZ+ Lux Dark. Sipradi is offering 3 years of warranty for customers in these variants.

Exterior and Interior

Similar to its fuel-driven siblings, Tata Nexon EV comes with a coupe-like design with tri-arrow styling. The SUV boasts projector headlamps with tri-arrow DRLs on the front and LED tail lights on the back. Other external elements include a shark fin antenna and roof rails. In addition, top variants get an electrically adjustable sunroof and a dual-tone finish.

In the interior, Nexon EV sports a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moreover, you will get a rear AC Vent, a fully automatic climate control system, four speakers and tweeters each by Harman, and fabric or leatherette seats.

Battery and Performance

Tata Nexon EV is equipped with a 30.2 KWh Lithium-ion battery and a Permanent Synchronous Motor, that is designed to produce 129 PS of maximum power and 245 Nm of maximum torque. The vehicle accelerates from 0-100 Km/h in 9.9 seconds.

The IP67-rated waterproof and dust-resistant battery pack comes with 8 years (or 160000Km) warranty. Similarly, the vehicle gets a warranty for three years (125000 Km).

The EV takes around 8 hours and 30 minutes to get fully charged using a 15A wall outlet, but it can be charged to 80% of its capacity in just 1 hour using a fast charger. The fully charged Nexon EV provides a range of 312 Km.

Nexon EV, a five-seater electric vehicle, has 205 mm of ground clearance and a wheelbase of 2498mm. In addition, the EV gets 350 L of massive space for luggage.

Safety features in Nexon EV include ABS with Electronic Brake-force Distribution, Overspeed warning, Hill Hold Control, Hill Descent Control, camera-based reverse park assist, and brake assist. Similarly, dual airbags ensure the safety of both the driver and the co-driver.
