Tata Safari Gold Edition Launched in India at INR 21.89 lakhs

Tata Motors has officially launched the Gold Edition of its flagship SUV-Tata Safari in the Indian market. The Indian automotive firm has launched the new SUV in two different colors- Black Gold and White Gold.
The White Gold is derived from the premium Frost White color, which has a contrasting black and white finish. This variant has a black roof that gives it a unique dual-tone look. Adding to it, the vehicle gets a glistening Mont Blanc Marble finish mid pad with subtle gold accents.
The Black Gold version comes with Coffee Bean-inspired Black exteriors along with radiant gold accents. The interiors of the Black Gold complement the exteriors with a combination of Dark Marble finish mid pad and golden treatment throughout the cabin. The new Gold Editions of the Safari rides on 18-inch Charcoal Black alloy wheels.
Similarly, in the interior, we can find new premium ventilated leather seats (1st and 2nd) rows, air purifiers, wireless car charging support, Android Auto and Apple Carplay support, and so on.
Tata Safari Design
The new-gen Tata Safari arrives with a number of cosmetic changes inside and out, including a new blue color called Tropical Mist. Moreover, the 18-inch alloy wheels now also get a black-out finish. The same goes for the front grille and the upper roof rails as well.
In terms of design, the SUV somewhat inherits the look of the Harrier SUV. However, it is 63mm longer and 80mm taller than the Harrier. The upper roof rails now also inscribe the ‘Safari’ name while the tailgate and tail-lights have been revised too.
Tata Safari Engine and Performance
The new Tata Safari adopts Land-Rover’s Omega architecture to provide utmost comfort in the 4-wheel driving system.

This flagship TATA SUV is powered by the same 2.0L Kyrtotec turbo-diesel engine churning out a power of 170bhp along with 350 Nm of torque. As for gearing options, it offers two options- a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
Tata Safari Interior
First on, this one is a three-row SUV which means it offers up to 7 seats. The interior design and layout is more similar as of the Harrier with a new black and beige color theme.
This one has a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with iRA connected car tech, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay support, and so on.

As for Safety Features, there are 6-safety airbags (top-variant) available along with terrain response modes, xenon HID headlights, an electronic parking brake, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, and other safety features.
