Tecno has announced its latest and first-ever 5G smartphone, called the Pova 5G.the device brings a Dimensity 900 SoC, a big 6000mAh battery, and a 120Hz display. In this post, we will be looking at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Tecno Pova 5G in Nepal.

Design and Display

Tecno Pova 5G features a 6.95-inch IPS LCD panel with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels. The display here offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 480ppi pixel density.

The smartphone has a rectangular camera module, and it measures 9.07mm thick. The back panel has a reflective stripe and a unique textured finish. It comes in a single Aether Black color option.

Performance

Running on Android 11 based HIOS 8, the Pova 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G chipset. Built on a 6nm node, the processor offers frequencies up to 2.4GHz. The smartphone comes with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also support for 3GB of virtual RAM.

Camera

For optics, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel camera, and an AI lens. Upfront is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. There’s also a video stabilization 2.0 algorithm, which gives a professional-grade clear and stable picture.

Battery and Others

Tecno Pova 5G packs a 6000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging. The big battery here is claimed to provide 24 hours of music, 40 hours of calls, 17 hours of games, and 15 hours of continuous internet surfing.

The smartphone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics. There's also a headphone jack, USB-C port, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
