Tesla CyberTruck VS Ford F-150 | A battle between the two beasts

Tesla has recently unveiled its new much-awaited electric pick-up, the Cybertruck at an event organized by CEO, Elon Musk. Since, its first show-off, the new Cybertruck has been a face among most of the auto enthusiasts.

Tesla had launched the new electric Cybertruck in three different ranges: 400km, 480km, and 800km. Recently as the video was released on the internet, which depicted a Tug-Of-War competition between Ford’s heavy-duty truck, the F-150, and Tesla’s new electric pick-up, the Cybertruck itself. This video had swiftly the hyped the auto-industry as Tesla’s new model had deftly won the battle between the two.

Ford F-150 is very much popular among the auto-industry for its unbelievable superpower. The truck is integrated with a 3.5-5L Eco-boost V8 diesel engine which delivers a massive horsepower of 375bhp along with a peak torque of 470Nm. The truck’s engine is mated with a 10-speed automatic gearbox transmission. The Ford F-150 has been designed to accelerate along with any road conditions which is why it’s been one of the popular Ford vehicles. In addition, the truck can ship up to 6000kgs of goods.

On the other hand, Tesla’s electric Cybertruck is available with three motor systems: Single, Dual and Triple motors. Among these, the dual and triple motor trucks are all-wheel drive. Tesla has already received a pre-order of around 1,87,000 units of the new Cybertruck while the dual-motor truck shares 42% of total sales while the single and triple motor ones share 17% and 41% respectively.

The single-motored electric CyberTruck provides a range of 400km which means the truck can accelerate up to 400km on a full charge. The truck has a carrying capacity of up to 3000kgs as claimed by Tesla. In addition, the truck can accelerate at a speed of 0-60km with 6.5 seconds.

Similarly, the dual-motored electric Cybertruck truck provides a range of around 480kms. It has two different motors connected to it. It also provides a 4-wheel drive feature. This model has a carrying capacity of up to 4000kgs.

Thirdly, the triple-motored Cybertruck has a range of 800 km while it has a carrying capacity of up to 5,600kgs. This truck can take on a speed of 0-60km within just 2.9 seconds.

According to Tesla, their new electric pick-up can carry up to 6 passengers while the truck’s body is fully made up of ultra-hard stainless steel. More on, the insides of the Cybertruck features a 17-inch touch screen connected.

Recently, Tesla had released a video depicting a pick-up and power battle between two of the powerful pick-ups, the Ford F-15 and the electric CyberTruck itself.
