Toyota Raize SUV to launch on December in Nepal- Pre-bookings open

Toyota Raize that first made its debut around 5-6 months ago in the International market is confirmed to launch in Nepal. United Traders Syndicate, the official distributor for Toyota cars in Nepal will be launching the new Raize SUV next month. The firm has also opened the pre-bookings for it. 

The firm has confirmed the launch of the SUV via its official Facebook Page. 

Toyota Raize in Nepal

The Toyota Raize is available in two engine options: 1.2L Petrol engine and 1.0L turbo petrol engine options. However, the 1.2L naturally aspirated engine will only be available in Nepal. Both the engines have manual and automatic transmissions. 

Here is the power and torque that both of these engines in the Raize can generate.

1.2L three-cylinder Dual VVT-i DOHC Petrol Engine: 88 bhp @ 6000rpm; 113 Nm @ 4500rpm

1.0L three-cylinder turbocharged Petrol Engine: 98 bhp at 6000rpm; 140 Nm @ 4500rpm

 

The 4.0m turning radius of the SUV helps in easy handling while the 200mm ground clearance further reduces the inconvenience of travelling.

The company has not compromised on the safety features as well. The Raize features a cornering lamp, smart parking system, LED headlamps with adaptive driving beams, cruise control, dual airbags, and cotton airbags as well.

Moreover, the Toyota Raize features a fully digital instrument cluster, a 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system with a reverse parking display, a rear parking sensor, Apple CarPlay compatibility, a 17-inch alloy wheel, roof rails, and LED tail lamp.

Price and Availability

The new Toyota Raize is available for booking at a token amount of Rs. 1 lakh. Coming on to the pricing, the company hasn’t officially unveiled its official pricing. However, it is expected to arrive at a price tag of Rs. 72.5 lakhs for the automatic variant and 66 lakhs for the manual one.
