Toyota's Raize Price in Nepal- Features, Specifications, Variants?

Toyota has launched the popular SUV ‘Raize’ in Nepal. In terms of rising prices in the sub-4M segment, the new Toyota SUV is also launched at a hefty price tag.

The new ‘Raize’ which started selling in Japan last year, has arrived in Nepal finally.

Japanese automaker- Toyota had recently unveiled its new compact SUV- Raize, in the Indonesian market a few months ago. Indonesia also happens to be one of the top markets for Toyota cars, where the highest volume is sold. 

The SUV is introduced with a 1.0-liter three-cylinder turbocharged engine. However, the Japanese automaker has now added another entry-level engine option for the Raize. The SUV is now also given an option for a 1.2L naturally-aspirated petrol engine which is less powerful than the 1.0L turbo unit. With this, Toyota Raize will now occupy a wide range of customers.

Here is the power and torque that both of these engines in the Raize can generate.

1.2L three-cylinder Dual VVT-i DOHC Petrol Engine: 88 bhp @ 6000rpm; 113 Nm @ 4500rpm

1.0L three-cylinder turbocharged Petrol Engine: 98 bhp at 6000rpm; 140 Nm @ 4500rpm

Toyota Raize Transmission Options and Price in Nepal

The compact SUV is available in two gearbox options-- a 5-speed manual and a CVT automatic. Here is the price of Toyota Raize in Nepal.

Toyota Raize Price in Nepal (CVT Automatic-1.2L Petrol): Rs. 72.5 lakhs

 

The 1.0L engine option will soon be available in Nepal.

For safety, the Raize features up to 6 airbags, Vehicle Stability Control, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist Control, 4 parking sensors, ISO fixed child seats and so on.
