Triumph Trident 660: Price and Specifications

Composed with a triple-powered performance and class-leading technology and specifications, the Triumph Trident 660 is an absolute competitive bang for the big bike segment.

Triumph 660 Trident Overview

Design-wise, the Trident 660 adopts the modern roadster styling cues with a hint of retro-inspired elements. The round headlamp and instrument cluster on the 660cc machine emits a classy retro feel. To add to its charm and classiness, a single-piece seat, circular fuel tank, and a floating rear tail has been incorporated.

The braking in the Trident is handled by dual disc brakes on both wheels (310mm twin discs- front and 255mm single disc-rear) while the motorcycle also offers a dual-channel ABS system.

Moreover, the suspension duties on the Trident 660 are carried out by Showa 41mm upside-down separate function forks (SFF) upfront alongside Showa mono-shock RSU, with preload adjustment at the rear.

This middle-weight British sports bike is one of the most popular and affordable offerings in the segment. The Triumph 660 Trident is one of those bikes that arrive from a premium branding yet is accessible, powerful, and budget-friendly for all category riders.

Other key features of the motorcycle include switchable traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, and two-riding modes- Rain and Road.

Triumph 660 Trident Engine Performance

Powering the British roadster-Trident 660 is a triple-cylinder inline liquid-cooled engine that churns out a peak power of 79.8 bhp at 10,250rpm accompanied by 64Nm of peak torque at 6250 rpm. The big engine is the motorcycle is mated to a 6-speed gearbox unit that has an optional quick shifter available.

Built under a tubular steel perimeter frame, the Triumph Trident runs on 17-inch aluminum wheels stuck on Michelin Road 5 tyres.

The Triumph Trident 660 rivals the likes of the other popular machines such as the Kawasaki Z650 and the Honda CB650R
