Today we are going to compare between two midrange smartphones i.e. Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus (with Dimensity 920) against Oppo Realme 9 Pro Plus which is also powered by the same chipset. So let’s get going to the specifications, features and which one of the smartphone has the advantage.

Design:

The Realme 9 Pro Plus comes with an interesting Sunrise Blue color option in which the device is able to change its color in a few seconds when placed under sunlight. It has a glass back whereas the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus also has a glass back but lacks to change the color under sunlight. It comes with IP53 certification making it dust and water resistant. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is bigger and thicker than Realme 9 Pro Plus so it’s a little uncomfortable to handle and for One-hand use.

Display:

According to specs and reports, Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus has a better display with 6.67-inches SUPER AMOLED panel with full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It comes with 120Hz refresh rate along with HDR10 certification and peak brightness upto 1200nits. The Realme 9 Pro Plus on the other hand has a lower refresh rate of 90Hz and inferior brightness. It also lacks HDR10 certification and furthermore it has in-display fingerprint whereas Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus sports the fingerprint scanner of its device is side-mounted (to the power key).

Performance:

Coming to performance they both are rivals as they are powered by the same chipset i.e. MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G at 6nm and running at a max frequency of 2.5GHz. Coming to the memory configuration both the smartphones provides 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. So the main difference in these two smartphones is its software support. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus runs on Android 11 whereas the Realme 9 Pro Plus runs on Android 12 out of the box.

Camera:

Coming to the camera the Real me 9 Pro Plus is the best camera you are looking for if you confused between these two smartphones. The main camera is lower i.e. 50MP but it’s a better sensor (Sony IMX766) unlike Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus that supports OIS only. The secondary sensors are identical containing 8MP (ultrawide lens) and 2 MP (macro lens).

Battery:

The battery capacity of both the smartphones is the same but coming to its fast charging support it’s different. The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus supports 120W fast charging whereas Realme 9 Pro Plus supports 65W fast charging.

Price:

The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is priced at $450 (around NPR.55000) and Realme 9 Pro Plus is priced at $435 (around NPR.53000) exclusive tax and VAT. So we can say it’s a draw between these two great smartphones as they both have something in common as one has a better display and fast charging option whereas the other one has a better camera and an interesting design.
