<p>The electric car <strong>Xpeng P7</strong>, produced by the Chinese company, Xpeng has officially become the longest-range electric vehicle made in china. This new EV by XPeng will be releasing in the second quarter of 2020. Adopting the range of <strong>706 km</strong> on a single charge, the XPeng P7 has been able to reach this new milestone.</p>

<p>The XPeng P7 EV comes in two different drive configurations: <strong>rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive</strong>. The vehicle delivers a power of 263bhp on the rear-drive version while the all-wheel-drive version delivers a power of 161bhp. The 706 km range is provided by the rear-wheel-drive version while the all-wheel-drive version&rsquo;s range is slightly less. Both the variants feature <strong>80.87kWh</strong> battery pack.</p>

<p>This is, in fact, a significant achievement by the Chinese automaker as most of the top other EV makers such as Audi, Mercedes, Jaguar and more are trying out hard to beat the range of Tesla Model 3 which is rated at 668km range.</p>

<p>And while comparing it to the new Xpeng P7, the range is around 5% less. Similarly, the battery pack in the Model 3 is also 75kWh which is smaller than that in the Xpeng P7. Highlighting on the sizes of both these EVs, the P7 is around 5-inches longer than Model 3 while it is also slightly roomier in the inside.</p>
