The FZ-S Fi Version 4.0, which was unveiled by Yamaha India, boasts a few noticeable improvements over the previous model. The model in question is the Deluxe, which is the most recent and highest-spec commuter model offered by the Japanese bike manufacturer.
In comparison to its predecessor, it gains additional functionality, modest mechanical changes, and cosmetic improvements. You can get all the details you need right here.
Design and Features
In order to improve the motorcycle's looks, Yamaha swapped the old LED headlight for a brand-new cluster. The headlamp is made up of a separate LED for the low beam and a reflector-style LED headlight for the high beam in the center. To give the bike a grumpier appearance, the headlamp is surrounded by LED Daytime Running Lamps.
A tiny windshield with integrated LED indicators caps the headlight. Yamaha offers LED indicators across the board on their motorcycle lineup in India. The huge petrol tank and the blue wheels are among of the highlights, but the remainder of the bike's design is the same.
On this motorcycle, Yamaha has added a traction control system for added security. As a result, the FZ-S Fi Deluxe V4 is the only motorcycle in its class to include this safety mechanism.

Dual-channel ABS would have further increased safety, but it is still not available on this top-spec FZ. The only other reason the bike might have ABS on the front wheel exclusively is that it would have cost more.
Last but not least, a new digital instrument cluster that appears to have been taken from the Yamaha MT-15 is added to the Yamaha FZ-S Fi Deluxe Version 4.0. It has Bluetooth technology, and users may pair their smartphones to it via the Yamaha Y-Connect app to do things like receive incoming calls and SMS alerts.
Performance
The 149cc, single-cylinder engine and gearbox from the previous Yamaha FZS-FI V4 Deluxe motorcycle are still included in the new model. The 5-speed gearbox used by this engine to send power and torque to the rear wheel has a maximum output of 12.4 bhp and 13.3 Nm.

The suspension and braking parts of the previous Yamaha FZS-FI V4 Deluxe motorcycle are still present in the new model. This indicates that the new model will still feature mono suspension in the back and telescopic forks up front. Additionally, 220mm discs at the back and 282mm discs up front are responsible for braking duties.
Others
As of right now, E20 fuel is also compatible with the FZS-Fi V4 Deluxe and FZ-X models. According to the manufacturer, all of its motorcycle models will be E20 fuel compliant by the end of 2023. On-board diagnostics (OBD-II) systems are now standard equipment on all Yamaha motorcycles, and they may be used to track emissions in real-time.
