After the massive success of the lower cc (150) MT-series in the Nepali market, MAW Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. has now launched its new offering, the iconic Yamaha MT 09 in the market. And this one also being inspired by the dark side of Japan, gets a similar look and design as the MT-15. However, a buffed one in both the look and performance too.

Yamaha MT 09 Overview
First on, speaking of its design, the MT-09 gets aggressive LED dual headlights with a twin-eye face. The front face of the motorcycle gets a minimalistic design, however an aggressive feel to it. More on, the bike arrived with a revised sear, a svelte tail section, and bigger air-intake scoops. And like its other siblings, this one also gets an upright riding position.

Speaking of the engine specifications, the new Yamaha MT-09 is powered by an 847cc in-line 3-cylinder engine that churns out a power of 111bhp alongside a peak torque of 87.5Nm. The bike’s engine is mated with a six-speed gearbox transmission followed by a slipper clutch for quick shifts.

Highlighting the electronics, the bike gets a three-position D-Mode function that allows the rider to adjust the engine power, two-mode traction control, and dual-channel ABS feature.
The braking is handled by a twin 298mm disc up front accompanied by a 245mm disc at the rear. The Yamaha MT 09 runs on 17-inch wheels while the suspension is handled by a 41mm inverted fork up front alongside a mono-shock unit at the back.
