Yamaha has recently launched their new bike, the Yamaha XSR 155. The company has already started the selling of the XSR 155 in Thailand.
According to the recent reports, the company has announced to launch the bike soon in the International market too. Yamaha will mostly target the countries where the demand for lower segment bikes (under 150cc) is high. The new Yamaha XSR 155 is based on the platform of YZFR-V3. The company had also designed the MT-15 Street Fighter model in the same platform.
The chassis, inverted telescopic fork, rear mono-shock, engine and some components on the bike has been taken from the M-15 model. Speaking of the design, XSR 155 adopts a round LED headlamp and a dual-tone fuel tank.
Yamaha XSR 155 is powered by a 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine which delivers a power of 19bhp and 14.7Nm of peak torque. The bike’s engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox. For effective brake handling, the two-wheeler is also integrated with a dual-channel ABS. More on, the other features of XSR 155 includes alloy wheels, digital instrument cluster, LED headlamps and slipper clutch for smooth riding.
Coming to the pricing, the Yamaha XSR 155 comes with a price tag of around INR 2,01,000/- while it seems like the bike will be coming with a huge price tag if it ever launches in Nepal.
