Don't believe everything you see and hear on YouTube
The giant social media platform Youtube has removed more than 30,000 videos from youtube that provided misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccines over the last 6 months.
As the vaccines for COVID are being available for the public, misinformation related to the vaccine has also spread over social media platforms. Any people having access to post anything easily on social media platforms has definitely lead to miss information and false claims about the vaccines over the internet. The false rumors have made people hesitant about taking the COVID-19 vaccine.

YouTube already has a COVID-19 medical misinformation policy and has taken over 80,000 videos down since the February of 2020 regarding the misinformation of coronavirus. The company has also added Vaccination misinformation to its COVID-19 medical misinformation policy in October 2020. Videos that violate the vaccine policy, according to the rules of YouTube, are those that dispute expert consent on the vaccines from the World Health Organization. Users who violate the YouTubes rules can result in users’ accounts being permanently banned.

We can see many Nepali people being misled by youtube videos or some misleading posts on other social media platforms. As a user of any social media platform, one should always realize that anyone has the ability to post anything they want on the social media platforms, and not everything everyone posts are the correct form of information.
