2020 BMW X1 Price in Nepal | Features, Variants, Specifications

German automaker BMW has recently launched its new iteration of the BMW X1 car in the Nepali market. Laxmi Premium Motors, the sole distributor for BMW cars in Nepal has brought this 2020 version of the X1 in Nepal. Before this, the 2019 model of X1 was being sold here.

2020 BMW X1 Overview

Design

Overall, the 2020 BMW X1 is a compact crossover SUV with slight changes in the 2019 version. Its exterior is characterized by short overhangs and a long wheelbase typical of an SAV (Sports Activity Vehicle). The striking BMW kidney grille and bold bumper in conjunction with narrow Adaptive LED headlights guarantee an extremely authoritative appearance.

 

Power and Performance

The premium SUV is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine delivering a peak power of 189bhp alongside a peak torque of 280 Nm. Its engine is mated with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox while using an AWD drivetrain. 

Interior 

The BMW X1’s interior is full-featured with a premium layout, and a spacious cabin. The dashboard is equipped with an 8.8-inch iDrive infotainment system with in-dash navigation, Apple CarPlay support, Bluetooth connectivity support, a USB port, a 12 speaker Harman/Kardon sound system, and 7 surround speakers.  

The interior gets two-row seating with a passenger capacity of 5. Other key features include a panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wiper, dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, reclinable rear seats, parking camera, adjustable front seats, and so on. 

 

Safety Features

The key safety features in the BMW X premium crossover include 6 airbags, forward collision warning, lane-departure warning, automatic high-beam headlamps, hill-assist control, and so on.
