Passing on from lots of leaks and rumors surfacing across the internet, Apple has finally unveiled its new budget iPhone, the iPhone SE 2 which is basically an upgrade to the previous iPhone SE. Let’s say it’s a 2020 version of the iPhone SE which was first released back in 2016.
However, when it comes to the design and internal features, the game has changed a lot in here. The new iPhone SE 2020 resembles a similar design as that of the iPhone 8. The device comes with a 4.7-inch screen with large bezels on top and bottom unlike the new-gen- iPhones with none of it.
Basically, the new iPhone SE 2 is a better camera and processor version of the iPhone 8. The phone is integrated with the latest A13 Bionic chip which is the same chipset used in the iPhone 11 and 11 Pro models. The screen size is what might disappoint the fans mostly who are large screen lovers. Otherwise, the tech used in the hood is just a masterpiece. And as per storage options, you will be getting 3 different ones: 64GB/128GB/256GB.
Moreover, when it comes to an iPhone, we cannot go on without highlighting its camera. The new iPhone SE 2 is embedded with upgraded camera features. It boasts a 12MP primary lens on the back alongside a flash too. The latest A13 Bionic chip used in the device allows improved Smart HDR photography, improved details, and crisp images. The “monocular depth-sensing” technology used on the machine helps to detect depth and faces while capturing top-notch portrait shots.
In terms of video capturing features, it supports 4K video at 60fps while it also comes with “cinematic” stabilization. Likewise, on the front, you will get a 7MP selfie shooter that also supports some portrait mode effects.
The iPhone SE 2 has a similar battery life as that of the iPhone 8, however, the size is different. Also, the next-generation iPhone SE holds 18W Fast charging capability while it also supports Qi wireless charging. And like most of the new generation iPhone models, this one also lacks the port for the headphone jack, instead uses the Lightning headphones.

The new generation iPhone SE 2 has been released in the midst of the pandemic. However, it is expected to be a big hit for the alluring price tag it comes with which most of us haven’t hoped for.
