According to a recent report from Canalys, the global Chromebook market has undergone an expected slowdown as only 4.9 million units were shipped in the quarter, and all the major vendors suffered double-digit falls in the quarter.
The slowdown in consumer and educational sector spending on Chromebooks after the COVID-19 demand spike is said to be the major reason behind the dip. As the educational sector is slowly moving back to physical classes, a slowdown was expected prior.
