Bajaj Auto has recently discontinued the production of one of their vogue bikes, the Pulsar 180. Instead the company has started their production on the F-series, i.e. the Pulsar 180F which is soon releasing in Nepal.

The company will now only sell their remained stock of the Pulsar 180 in the market. Since a long time, the Pulsar 180 has been an affordable and elegant performing bike in the country. However, due to its age and release of other competitive bikes in the market, Bajaj had to struggle in the sales of the bike. Therefore, the company has confirmed that the production of the bike has now been stopped since a month.

Another chief reason for the demise of the bike could be the introduction of Pulsar 180F which has also hyped the automobile market since its release while it mostly shares similar design as that of the Pulsar 220F which is still on hype being a decade old.

The new Pulsar 180F shares the same platform as the standard Pulsar 180 while it’s higher in some specs. More on, in terms of design and other parts, the new Pulsar 180F shares to same features of the Pulsar 220F. Pulsar 180F gets the same fuel tank, instrument cluster and other parts as the Pulsar 220F. However, the only crucial difference is the Engine of these two bikes.

The new Pulsar 180F gets a 178.6 cc single-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke engine which is coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. More on, the bike produces a power of 17.02BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.22Nm torque at 6500 rpm. Whereas, for the braking, the front tire of the bike is assembled with 260mm disc brake while the rear tire has 230mm disc brake. The company has also announced to update the ABS on the bike soon.

Well, the new Pulsar 180F can be placed under the mid-segment bike between the Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 220F when compared to its design and specs.
