Yamaha India had recently released their new bike, the Yamaha MT-15 in India while the new beast is acquiring good reviews from the customers there.

The new Yamaha MT-15 is powered by the same 155cc engine as the previous Yamaha model, R15. However, the company has sprucely worked upon this new vehicle to make it look more stylish, agile, and have an elegant performance.

Yamaha-MT 15 was priced in India at IRs 1.36 lakhs which is somewhat near to the new R15 v3 which is priced at IRs 1.39 lakhs in India.

Overview

The new street fighter motorcycle, Yamaha MT-15 is mounted upon a 155cc liquid cooled engine attached with 4 strokes SOHC, four valve and 6-speed transmission. The vehicle is now available in two different colors: Dark Matt Blue and Metallic Black.

Yamaha has introduced this new MT-series motorcycle as a part of their ongoing “Call of The Blue Campaign” while the company will now be offering 3 series altogether: the FZ-Series, the R-series, and the MT-series itself. Also, the new Yamaha MT-15 will rival the other similar models like TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and the KTM 200 Duke.

Furthermore, the new Yamaha MT-15’s engine offers 58 X 58.7 mm bore X stroke and an 11.6:1 compression ratio while produces a maximum output of 19.3 PS at 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 14.6 Nm at 8,500 rpm. The beast is designed with the ideal technology to provide more agile handling and acceleration.
