Honda Files Patents for its new Three-Wheeler, NeoWing | Releasing Soon

Many of the two-wheelers manufacturers these days have been planning on releasing their own three-wheeled vehicle. While from the latest updates, we have come to know that Honda, the Japanese auto manufacturer has also recently filed patents for its new three-wheeler.

Honda had already showcased their concept for the new three-wheeler back in 2016 while named it as “NeoWing”. The structure of the motorcycle featured two wheels on the front with steering and a rear wheel on the back. The bike has been designed in such a way that the riders can easily lean around corners (up to 45 degrees) without any hassle for disbalance. The front wheels of the bike are linked and designed in such a way that it can be easily leaned around the corners like regular sports bikes.

Additionally, speaking of the engine, the three-wheeler uses an 874cc engine which produces a 115PS power at 10,000 rpm whereas 87.4 Nm of torque at 8,500rpm which is quite impressive. Besides this, the new NeoWing will also feature a shaft drive while some recent leaks suggest that the vehicle will also get a hybrid powertrain.

More on, along the design side, the NeoWing gets a sharp and elegant design with angular lines running from the front to the end. Other features include double-barrel exhausts on both sides, LED lighting, alloy wheels, and hugger mounted number plate.

Well, Honda has never compromised on the design and build of their machines, let’s see if their new approach to tri-wheeler (NeoWing) can hype trike market or not?
