Honda’s luxurious touring bike, the Honda Goldwing has recently entered the Nepali market. Syakar Trading, the sole distributor for Honda automobiles in Nepal has brought this bike to the Nepali market.
The new Honda Goldwing is one of the most luxurious bikes in the world as it holds most of all the top-notch features that you can get in a bike. In Nepal, Honda has just brought one unit of the model as a piece for the showcase.
Honda Gold Wing Back History
The Honda Gold Wing was first introduced in the year 1974 at the Cologne Motorcycle Show while after its first look, it went on to become very much popular across North America, Europe as well as Japan. The bike was re-launched in the year 2001 while the same model was up for sale until 2017.
After 2017, Honda updated some of the engine features, shaft, and other technical features in the bike and launched it with updated mechanics in 2018. The 2018 Gold Wing is now still under production and available for purchase overseas.

First on, the Honda Gold Wing is powered by a 1883cc liquid-cooled engine that delivers a power of 125bhp at 5500rpm along with a peak torque of 170Nm at 4500rpm. The bike’s engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission while it comes with a slipper clutch.

Integrated with the digital electronic ignition system, the Gold Wing also comes with top-notch connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay, Reverse Gear, multiple-riding mode, and more. This motorcycle is, in fact, the first motorcycle in the world to feature Apple CarPlay.
Being an adventure tourer, the bike comes with 4 modes for riding—Eco, Rain, Touring, and Sports. The big TFT screen placed in front of the motorcycle allows riders the control the bike features while navigating their ways across the trails.

Other quirky features of the bike include nano seats, electrically adjustable windscreen, and key-less start. Comparing the new Honda Gold Wing model to its predecessor, the 2019 model has a bunch of cool features added into it which adds a more luxury feel to the motorcycle.

In India, the bike comes with a price tag of INR 28,00,000/- while in the International market, it holds a starting price tag of $23,000.
