A 6.78-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate is included on the Honor 80 Pro. In terms of technology, the Honor 80 Pro is the most advanced phone. A TSMC Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor manufactured in 4nm is included.
The three Cortex-A710 Gold cores are capped at 2.5GHz as opposed to 2.75GHz on other phones with the SD 8+ processor, however it is a slightly under-clocked variant with the main Cortex-X2 core operating at 3.0GHz (instead of 3.2GHz). It runs on MagicOS 7, which is an Android 12-based operating system.
The SoC also includes WiFi 6E, 5G compatibility, and an incredible ISP for those great photos and videos. A triple camera setup is housed in the camera module of the Honor 80 Pro, which has a unique design. The highest quality camera is a 160MP gadget with a 1/1.56" sensor and an f/1.8 aperture. It combines two sensors, a 50MP ultrawide and a 2MP portrait sensor.
Additionally, Honor will be delivering its updated Image Engine, which now features enhanced scene optimizations, improved skin texture identification, and improved AI RAW algorithms. With AI Vlog mode, artists may give their videos more sophisticated controls.
The front of the device features a 50MP primary Selfie camera and a 2MP depth sensor, all of which are concealed behind a pill-shaped punch hole. The phone is powered by a 4,800mAh battery that enables 66W fast charging.
Honor 80
The Pro model of the Honor 80 is more equipped than the regular model. The display is still a curved AMOLED panel, even though it is slightly smaller at 6.67 inches. Additionally, the 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth are maintained.
At this moment, the Snapdragon 782G enters the picture. It is the newest chip from Qualcomm, and it will replace the popular Snapdragon 778+ in the midrange market. The Honor 80 has storage options between 256GB and 512GB and is offered in 8GB and 12GB RAM models, just like its Pro siblings.
At the back, there is a distinctive camera bump made of two concentric circles. Additionally, there is a 160MP primary camera, but it is augmented with 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensors.
There is a single 32MP Selfie camera for taking pictures of oneself inside the center-aligned punch-hole. The Honor 80 still boasts a 4,800mAh battery and can be charged quickly at 66W.
Honor 80 SE
The display on the Honor 80 SE is the same as that on the Honor 80. The same applies to the 32MP Selfie camera with a punch hole. The package is different, nevertheless, as evidenced by the rectangular camera bump and pyramid shape. Honor uses a 64MP primary camera along with a 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro sensor.
The Honor 80 SE is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, 8/12GB of RAM, and 255GB of storage. It sports a smaller 4,600mAh battery and 66W charging. It comes pre-installed with Android 12-based MagicOS 7.0, just like the other two phones in the lineup.
