Infinix Zero X series with periscope cameras and Helio G95 SoC launched | Specifications and Features

 

Infinix has unveiled its three new camera-focused smartphones called Infinix Zero X, Zero X Pro, and Zero X Neo. All three models come with MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and a periscope lens. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, and prices of Infinix Zero X and Zero X Pro.

Infinix Zero X series Periscope Cameras

 

 

All three models of the Infinix Zero X series feature periscope with 5x optical and 60x digital magnification, making them all capable of taking Moon shots. There is also a new camera algorithm dubbed the Galileo Engine, which controls the camera while capturing images of the Moon and later process the data to get clear results. According to Infinix, this setup will allow users to capture high-resolution moon shots from their smartphones.

Infinix Zero X Pro Specifications

 

Infinix Zero X Pro comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio G95 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is a feature of Extended RAM, which adds 3GB of Virtual RAM to the smartphone. Users can also expand the storage using a  MicroSD card.

For optics, there is a triple camera setup that houses a 108-megapixel primary sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide with 120-degree FOV, and an 8-megapixel periscope lens. Upfront is a 16MP selfie camera with a dual-LED flash.

The Infinix Zero X Pro runs on XOS 7.6 on top of Android 11. It packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging and features an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The device measures 7.8mm thick and comes in three color options - Nebula Black, Starry Silver, and Tuscany Brown. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 4, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Infinix Zero X Specifications

For most of the part, Infinix Zero X is identical to its Pro sibling. The notable difference here is the 64-megapixel sensor with OIS, compared to the 108-megapixel sensor on the Pro. It packs a smaller 4500mAh battery, compared to 5000mAh on the Pro. Further, the vanilla Zero X is limited to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Apart from the changes, Infinix Zero X carries the same 120Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC, a 45W fast charging, identical dimensions, and the same connectivity and sensors options.
