iPhone 14 Series New Features

One of the heavily rumored features of the iPhone 14 series is the always-on display. The Pro models of the series are expected to have an always-on display utilizing the lock screen widgets feature of iOS 16. According to reports, users will be able to see notifications without taping the screen.

Moreover, the feature will operate at low brightness and frame rates. Apple is expected to utilize ProMotion tech to drop the frame rates as low as 10Hz to preserve battery life. Similarly, users will also likely get the option to enable or disable the always-on display feature for privacy.

With iOS 16, Apple brought the lock screen widget feature that showcases weather, fitness scores, stocks, and other data. Combining the feature with an always-on display will allow iPhone 14 users to see such data without waking the phone. It’s in the same line as the always-on display mode on Apple Watch since the series 5.
