iQOO To Announce the Launch of Its Z6 and Z6x Smartphones on 25 August

After launching the Z6 series in the international markets, iQOO has now announced the launch of the Z6 series in its home market. The series, for now, will feature the iQOO Z6 and iQOO Z6x smartphones. Besides, there’s an ongoing rumor that the iQOO Z6 launching in China will have different specs than its global counterpart.

iQOO Z6 and Z6x Launch Date and Expected Price 

Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has officially confirmed the August 25 launch date of the iQOO Z6 series in China. As mentioned above, the series will feature two phones - iQOO Z6 and iQOO Z6x. Besides, the phone will feature different specs compared to the global version. 

Talking about price, the iQOO Z6 is expected to cost around $300 (CNY 2,000), while the iQOO Z6x is likely to be a little affordable at $250 (CNY 1,700). 

iQOO Z6 Specifications 

iQOO has also unveiled some specs of the iQOO Z6, which confirms the rumors that the phone will be different than its global variant. The phone is teased to feature the Snapdragon 778G Plus processor along with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 pairing. Besides, the phone will have 80W charging support, which will take the phone from zero to 50% in just 10 minutes. 

Other confirmed features on the iQOO Z6 are - a six-layer cooling system and a triple camera setup with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). 

If you believe in rumors, the Z6 will feature a 6.64-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 4500 mAh battery. Moreover, the triple camera setup will likely feature 64MP, 2MP, and 2MP sensors and an 8MP selfie shooter.

iQOO Z6x Specifications 

iQOO Z6x, on the other hand, has very little information online. The only poster of the phone revealed by the company showcases the large 6000mAh battery. Furthermore, the 6000mAh cell is said to offer 115 hours of continuous music playback and 13.7 hours of gaming. 

Other details about the iQOO Z6x will be unveiled at the launch event on August 25.
