iQOO has launched a new 5G smartphone called iQOO Z6 5G in India. Marketed as the fastest 5G smartphone in its price segment, the device brings a Snapdragon 695 chipset, a 120Hz display, a large 5000mAh battery, and more. So, let’s go through the specs, features, availability, and expected price of the iQOO Z6 5G in Nepal.

Design and Display

iQOO Z6 5G features a 6.58-inch IPS LCD with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. 

The smartphone has a rectangular camera module at the back and comes in color options of Chromatic Blue and  Dynamo Black. The device features a 2.5D flat frame with an AG finish that measures 8.25mm thick.

Performance

The iQOO Z6 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB using a microSD card. Vivo has further added the Extended RAM 2.0 technology, which provides up to 4GB of virtual RAM. 

On the software side, the device runs on the FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. Further, it is fueled by a 5000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and reverse charging.  iQOO claims that the 5000mAh battery provides 24.3 hours of music, 22.6 hours of Facebook, 16.9 hours of Netflix, and 8.5 hours of BGMI (Indian version of PUBG Moble) in a single full charge.

Camera and Others

For optics, the triple rear camera setup of the device consists of a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel bokeh lens. Upfront is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. 

Connectivity options on the device include 5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Furthermore, there's a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics.

iQOO Z6 5G price in India at INR 15,499 for the base 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. There’s also a 6GB and an 8GB RAM model of the smartphone, which costs INR 16,999 and INR 17,999, respectively. If the smartphone launches here in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.30,000.
