After launching two popular classics-- Jawa CLassic and Jawa Forty-Two in the Nepali market, the Indian automaker has finally launched its popular bobber bike, the Jawa Perak here. Jawa Perak is, in fact, the most expensive offering in its line-up. 

Well, let's discuss the price, specs, and other details of the motorcycle in Nepal. 

Jawa Perak Overview

Unlike its siblings, the new Perak model resembles somewhat different looks on the outside. The bike adopts a low and long stance along with the bobber styling cues which adds a more elegant feel to the machine. The Perak is a single-seater bike which makes it quite quirky in design.

Coming to the engine, the Jawa Perak motorcycle is integrated with BS-6 compliant 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine which generates a power of 30bhp and a peak torque of 31Nm. The engine capacity of the bike has been increased compared to its siblings while the Jawa and Jawa Forty-Two only delivered 27bhp power along with 28Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle’s engine is mated with a 6-speed gearbox transmission.

Additionally, the braking on the motorcycle is handled by disc brakes on both ends along with dual-channel ABS as standard. Similar to the RE Himalayan, this one adopts a semi-digital instrument cluster that looks astonishing.

Built-in a Double cradle tubular frame, the Jawa Perak adopts a telescopic hydraulic fork upfront accompanied by a 7-step rear adjustable mono-shock absorber at the rear. Other alluring features of the two-wheeler include integrated tail light, teardrop fuel tank, wide-handlebar, and so on.
