The successor to the Mahindra Scorpio receives an 'N' suffix in its all-new avatar. The Mahindra Scorpio N will be its name. Scorpio N, not Scorpion. It will ride on a new ladder-frame chassis. A tall grille with six chrome slats, a broad chrome band across the grille, attractive headlights, and a fake aluminum side plate are among the exterior modifications.

 

The Scorpio-N will have a new front grille with vertical chrome lines, new LED projector headlights, LED fog lamps with DRL surrounds, dual-tone alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, a shark fin antenna, and vertical tail lamps, according to the teaser films published.

 

The new Scorpio-N is rumored to include a bigger touchscreen infotainment system, a redesigned flat-bottom steering wheel, front-facing third-row seats, roof-mounted speakers, and a semi-digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, and more on the interior.

Key Features

The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N’s dimensions will have a front and rear camera, a front armrest with storage function, cruise control, wireless charging, traction control, hill descent control, TPMS, an engine start-stop button, AC vents, and a Type-C charging port for the second row, a 4WD system called 4Xplor mode, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and a manual IRVM on the inside. The next Mahindra Scorpio-N will be driven by a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine. 

Depending on the version, two alternate designs for the instrument console will be available. The Scorpio-N will most likely be available with two engine options. These include a 197 BHP petrol engine from the XUV700 and a diesel engine with 172 BHP and up to 400 Nm of torque. The latter will most likely be available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The stolen data also confirms transmission options, which include a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic.

 

However, the SUV promises a more pleasant cabin than the current model, thanks to improved legroom and front-facing seats in the third row. The leaked image also shows some of the model's amenities, including a touchscreen infotainment system, automated temperature control, a twin-dial instrument cluster, and more. ESP, traction control, hill descent control, cruise control, drowsiness recognition, and six airbags will all be standard on the SUV.

Price in Nepal

The pricing of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N is estimated to range between approximately NRs. 50 lakhs to NRs. 80 lakhs in Nepal. Although the expected price in India however is IC 12 Lakhs.
