Facebook spent $25 million last year on Mark Zuckerberg’s security | An Expensive CEO

2020 cost billionaire CEO Zuckerberg $25 million for his security  

According to the latest proxy statement reports of Facebook, we have come to know that Facebook has spent approximately more than $25 million on Mark Zuckerberg’s security, The figures are more than $3 million compared with the data on 2019.  

The rising security cost is directly proportional to the recent pandemic and US elections that just occurred last year.

  

Last year (2020), Facebook spent more than $13.4 million for Mark’s personal security while the additional security amount of $10 million relied on his family’s security and around $1.8 million for his private jets’ use.

Speaking of the figures in 2019, around $22 million was spent on protecting the billionaire CEO. The new safety protocols and restrictions in travel during the COVID-19 pandemic added with increased security coverage at the 2020 US elections is what primarily made Facebook to spent more than $3 million this year compared to 2019.
