Oppo Reno 7 Pro series arrives in the Indian market | the vanilla Reno 7 features a different chipset compared to the Chinese version

 

Oppo recently launched the Reno 7 series in China that consisted of three smartphones - Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro, and Reno 7 SE. The series is now slowly making its way into the global market. Outside of China, India became the first market to see the launch of the Reno 7 series. Except for the SE model, both the vanilla 7 and 7 Pro have arrived in the Indian market, and the first sale is scheduled for February 17.

Oppo Reno 7 Series Price and Availability 

 

 

Both the Reno 7 and 7 Pro come in a single memory configuration, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage on the Reno 7 and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage on the Pro model. The vanilla 7 retails at INR 28,999, while the Pro costs INR 39,999. 

The first sale for the Reno 7 Pro is scheduled for February 8, while the Reno 7 will go on sale on February 17 in India.

Oppo Reno 7 Series Specifications

 

 

Talking about the specifications, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro features the same spec sheet as the Chinese version. Some of the major highlights of the smartphone are; Dimensity 1200 Max chipset with 5G capabilities and 12GB of RAM, a 50MP main camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 32MP selfie camera with a Sony IMX709 sensor, and 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charging. When it comes to Reno 7, Oppo has made some changes to the global version of the smartphone. The device is now powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor compared to the Snapdragon 778G in the Chinese version. While the battery capacity remains the same 4500mAh, Oppo has slightly increased the charging speed to 65W SuperVOOC from 60W on the Chinese variant. Other than that, the smartphone is pretty much identical to the Chinese version.
