Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco has launched the successor of the M3 Pro 5G with some refinement. The all-new Poco M4 Pro 5G brings a Dimensity 810 processor, a 90Hz display, and a 33-watt fast charging. Poco M4 Pro 5G features a 6.6-inch dot display with an FHD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The display here supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and has a DCI-P3 wide color gamut. 

In terms of design, the camera island now covers the full top width of the back panel. The smartphone comes in three color options of Cool Blue, Power Black, and Poco Yellow.

Running on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 for Poco, the device is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 810 processor. It comes with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Poco has also added the Dynamic RAM Expansion feature, which grants 2GB of virtual RAM. Users can also expand the storage up to 1TB using a MicroSD card.

For optics, the dual-camera setup of the smartphone features a 50-megapixel primary sensor and an 8-megapixel ultrawide with 119-degree FoV. Upfront is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The camera setup is backed by a list of artificial intelligence (AI) powered features including a Night Mode, and it is paired with an LED flash.

Poco M4 Pro 5G packs a 5000mAh battery and supports 33-watt fast charging. There is both Face ID and Fingerprint scanner for biometrics. Furthermore, connectivity options on the device include 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
