Lu Weibing, general manager of the Redmi brand, revealed that the global sales of the Redmi Note series exceeded 240 million. Back in May, the company announced that the global sales of the Redmi Note series were 200 million. In just 5 months, with an average of 8 million units per month, Xiaomi managed to sell another 40 million units of Redmi Note series devices.

As per Weibing, starting from this year, the Note series will implement an iterative strategy of two-generation per year. One generation will focus on performance and the other will focus on balance in all aspects. He believes that this strategy will meet the needs of more diversified users.
Xiaomi also announced that its latest Redmi Note series smartphones consisting of Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ sold over 500,000 units in one hour. Just last week, Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones in its homeland China. All three smartphones of the series are powered by MediaTek’s 5G Dimensity processors.
