Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition is the limited edition smartphone that brings the Dragon Ball Z theme to Realme’s popular flagship killer, the Realme GT Neo 2. Well known for its innovative design ideas like the suit-case-inspired GT Master Edition, paper-inspired GT 2 series, and more, the new GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition brings the 90s childhood anime nostalgia in today's era.

The strategy of bringing GT Neo 2 with the design theme based on one of the beloved anime characters, “Son Goku (kakarot)” seemed to have worked out excellently for Realme. Reports coming from China suggest that the company sold out all the 5000 units of the smartphone within its first sale. The smartphone received overwhelming demand, and the company has now decided to launch a second flash sale of the Realme GT Neo2 Dragon Ball Z edition on January 10 in China (today at 12 am CST). The new limited edition smartphone of Realme went on its first sale in China on January 7 at a promotional price of CNY 2699 (~NRP 50,000). The company has also teased that the smartphone will arrive in Europe and India.

Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition Specifications
Talking about the specifications of the Realme GT Neo 2 Dragon Ball Z Edition, the device features the same spec sheet as the GT Neo 2. You get the same Snapdragon 870 SoC, a 120Hz E4 Samsung AMOLED panel, and a 5000mAh battery. All the major changes in the smartphone are aesthetic.
The glass back of the smartphone now has an orange and blue color, which matches the outfit of Goku. There’s also a Japanese Kanji character, “æ‚Ÿ”, which means wisdom or enlightenment. This is the same kanji that we see Goku sport on both the front and back of his uniform. There’s also some software customization on the smartphone like a Goku-themed lock screen and “Super Saiyan” themed charging animation.
The packaging of the smartphone also features the Dragon Ball Z theme. Inside the box, you’ll find a custom-designed sim card pin that resembles the fourth Dragon Ball (Dragon Ball with 4 stars). There are also some collectibles like stickers and artwork inside the packaging.
