Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 10, an entry-level smartphone of the company. It comes with an Helio G88 chipset, a 90Hz display, and a 50MP primary camera. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, and the expected price of the Redmi 10 in Nepal. 

Redmi 10 price starts at USD 179 for the base 4/64GB variant and goes up to USD 219 for the top 6/128GB variant. 

Redmi 10 Overview

 

 

Redmi 10 features a  6.5 inches IPS AdaptiveSync display that automatically adjusts the refresh rate to the content that is being displayed. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate, features Reading Mode 3.0, and has an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device measures 8.9mm thick, weighs 181 grams, and gets the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the display.

 

 

The chipset here is a MediaTek Helio G88, which is a tweaked version of the Helio G85. Redmi 10 is also the first device to use the new Helio G88 SoC. It s paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of onboard storage. Further, the device operates on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

For optics, Redmi 10 gets a quad-camera setup at the back. It consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide, and two 2MP macro and depth sensors. Selfies and video calls are handled by an 8MP sensor housed in a center punch-hole notch of the display. 

 

 

Providing fuel to the device is a 5000mAh battery. It supports 18-watt fast charging and 9-watt reverse wired charging. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock for security. Wireless connectivity options include WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.1.
