Samsung Nepal has recently come up with its new entry-level smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A01 in the Nepali market. The new Galaxy A01 is the first entry-level device under the Samsung A-series line-up. Well, does the Samsung Galaxy A01 have competitive specs to rival against the other entry-level smartphones in Nepal? Let’s find that out.
Samsung Galaxy A01 Overview
Firstly, let’s go on the display. The new Samsung Galaxy A01 flaunts a 5.7-inch HD+ PLS TFT display with a water-drop notch on the top. The device comes with a thick bezel on the bottom.
Under the hood hides Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 chipset that powers the device. As the device is entry-level, we can assume that it doesn’t get a top-level chipset and goes for a budget one. More on, the device’s CPU is coupled with 2GB of RAM alongside 16GB of internal storage. The memory is further expandable up to 512GB using the MicroSD card slot.

Highlighting on the camera setup, the Galaxy M01 packs a dual-camera setup on the back kept in a vertical array which comprises a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Similarly, on the front, you will be getting a 5MP selfie shooter which Samsung claims to capture fine selfies.
Coming on to the powerhouse of the device, i.e. its battery. The Samsung Galaxy A01 is packed with a 3000mAh battery. However, you won’t be getting the fast charging feature on this one. Also, the device doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor as it resides under the entry-level segment.

Samsung has silently launched the new Galaxy A01 without making any official presence. The device is available in three different color options: Black, Red, and Blue. Coming on to the pricing,
