MAW Enterprises, the sole distributor for Skoda vehicles in Nepal has officially launched the new much-awaited SUV Skoda Kushaq in the Nepali market. On Wednesday, 75 units of the new Skoda Kushaq were delivered from the Showrooms across the country on the same day. 

MAW organized a program in Kathmandu on Wednesday and handed over the vehicle to its respective customers.

Trims Available?

The new Skoda Kushaq SUV is available in three trims—Active, Ambition, and Style.

Engine Performance and Gears

In terms of engine, the Skoda Kushaq includes two different engines option—a 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol, and 1.5L, 4-cylinder turbo petrol unit.

The starting variant, i.e. 1.0 L (1000cc) churns out a horsepower of 115bhp and 175Nm peak torque while the top engine variant, 1.5L delivers a power of 147bhp and 250Nm of peak torque.

Coming on to the gearbox transmission options, here is what they are available in:

• 1.0L turbo petrol engine— 6-speed manual and a 6speed automatic transmission
• 1.5L turbo petrol engine—6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic

At a glance, the Skoda Kushaq is a very good-looking vehicle. Designed with a butterfly grille upfront followed by L-shaped LED wraparound tail lights with crystalline detailing, the Kushaq surely checks all the boxes when it comes to a stylish SUV. The projector headlamp and fog lamps in the Kushaq resemble quite similar looks as of its other sibling, Karoq.

Moreover, the bigger 17-inch alloy wheels fitted in the SUV give a taller look to the SUV.

The Skoda Kushaq is one of the premium feature-packed cars in its segment. The SUV is provided with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system also supporting both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity. Other exciting features include auto-dimming IRVM, a 7-speaker audio system, ventilated front leather seats, wireless charging, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless MirrorLink, keyless start, and so on.
