Tata Motors inaugurates 70 new showrooms in India on a single day

Tata Motors India has recently expanded its footprint opening 70 new outlets in southern India. Excitingly, all of these Tata outlets were inaugurated in a single day.
In total, these dealerships were opened in 53 new cities with retail for both electric and passenger vehicle range.
To increase the showrooms network in South India, the Indian carmaker has opened new sales outlets in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Pondicherry, Telangana, and various other parts of India. With this, the carmaker now owns 272 Tata showrooms in South India.
Tata recently expanded its EV line-up with the introduction of Tigor EV at a starting range of INR 11.99 lakhs. Moreover, the carmaker is further expanding its lineup with the upcoming Tata Punch, which will probably roll out this festive season.

In the inauguration of new Tata outlets, Rajan Amba, Vice-President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Care, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors, stated, “The Southern India contributes to 28 percent of the total industry volumes and hence it is very critical for us to be strategically present in the emerging markets. With a 12.1 percent market share in Southern India, we are committed to our customers and want to make our New Forever range of passenger cars easily accessible. The trailblazing launch of these 70 new sales outlets marks an important milestone in our aggressive retail expansion plans in India.”
