And after following a long wait, Tata's popular electric car- Tigor EV has finally made it to Nepal. The Tigor EV is undoubtedly a tough competitor in the entry-level EV market. Its other sibling, Tata Nexon EV is getting a good response in Nepal while the introduction of Tigor EV is also expected to open new doors.
The new Tata Tigor EV was launched in India a few months back while it is also acquiring a great market share in India.

Tata Tigor EV Overview
1. Battery
The 2021 Tata Tigor EV gets a range of 306 km on a single charge during the standard test. This range is certified by ARAI. However, under general conditions, the Tigor EV might go up to 250kms.
This new EV by Tata boasts a 26kWh battery pack which takes around 8 hours to fully charge using a 15A domestic socket.
2. Performance
The Tigor EV adopts Ziptron technology which makes its performance top-notch. Its electric motor generates a power of 74bhp alongside a peak torque of 170 Nm. It takes around 5.7 seconds to attain a speed of 0-60 km/hr. This one has a top speed of 120km/hr.

3. Features
The new Tata Tigor EV gets tons of cosmetic updates. The Tigor EV boasts a new front grille design, bumper, halogen LED headlights and DRLs. It now has a blue accent on its alloy wheels.
On the inside too, this one features a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Herman Audio-system, and an all-digital driver display as well as blue stitched upholstery.
4. Colors and Variants
The new Tata Tigor EV is available in 4 different color options: Signature Teal Blue, Teal Blue Dual Tone, Daytona Grey, and Daytona Grey Dual Tone.
Variants: XE, XM, and XZ+.
