Let’s know more about the new Triumph Speed Twin.
Triumph Speed Twin 1200 Overview
Design
Speaking of the style elements, the new Triumph Speed Twin features new headlight mounts, new graphics, and a new set of mudguard mounts. However, features such as a rounded fuel tank, seating position, and 12-inch alloy wheels have been borrowed from its predecessor.
Other key features of the motorcycle include a semi-digital instrument cluster, USB power socket, and an engine immobilizer.
The comfortable riding position of the motorcycle makes it a perfect blend to fit the cruiser segment.
Engine and Performance
The updated 1200cc engine is more powerful and responsive with a stronger, more exhilarating mid-range.
Mechanically, the motorcycle is powered by a 1200cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that delivers a peak power of 98.6bhp at 7250rpm alongside a peak torque of 112Nm at 4250rpm. In addition, there are 3 different riding modes available in the cruiser- Rain, Sport, and Road. Other notable elements in the Speed Twin include Traction Control System, dual-channel ABS, and so on.
