This New TVS Superbike can now compete with BMW Superbikes: Know Details Here

The long-awaited Scrambler from Indian automaker TVS has finally made its official debut in India two months ago.

The motorcycle was launched in three different trims- single-tone, dual-tone, and triple-tone. It is available at a starting price tag of INR 1.49 lakhs in India.

Looks-wise, the body stance of the cruiser looks very similar to that of the Honda CB 350. It retains the classic single leather seat positioning with a huge round LED headlight.

The narrow seats with a tear-shaped fuel tank and a round digital odometer don’t fail to give the motorcycle a classic cruiser look. This LCD digital display in the bike displays the gear shift indicator, time, Trips, acceleration, and some connected features as well. You can manage smartphone notifications on the pod.

Powering the Ronin 255 is a 225.9 cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, oil-cooled engine that delivers a peak power of 20.12 bhp at 7750 rpm along with a max torque of 19.93 Nm at 3750 rpm. The motorcycle’s engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox transmission.

The braking duties are handled by dual-disc brakes on both tires. Excitingly, there is also an option for dual-channel ABS. However, this one is only available in top-tier variants while the lower and mid-trims get the single-channel ABS.

Quirky Features in TVS Ronin 225

The biggest feature of this bike is that it automatically starts cooling when it gets hot. It has a large oil cooler and O3C cylinder which helps in cooling it down quickly. The seat of this bike is also made very comfortable. Boasting a 17-inch wheel, even short people can drive it very comfortably.

How can the new TVS Ronin 225 compete with BMW Superbikes?

In terms of features as well as look and design, it holds a possibility to compete with BMW bikes. The way BMW bikes use LED lights for the headlight and indicator can also be found in the new TVS Ronin.

Hybrid technology has been used in the braking system of the motorcycle. Similarly, the motorcycle also uses a top-class suspension system that is very comparable to high-end bikes.

TVS Ronin 125 is very affordable than its rich competitors...

The price of this bike starts from Rs 1.49 lakh. This bike is available in three variants, the price of the top variant is Rs 1.69 lakh. It is equipped with an auto start-stop feature. It has two ABS modes, Urban and Rain.

In slippery conditions, the rain mode helps prevent accidents. In this, along with a digital speedometer, features like call receive and reject are available. If someone calls while riding a bike, you can receive or disconnect the call by pressing the self button. This is a premium feature that you don't even get in all superbikes.

Conclusion

Boasting some of the top and premium features along with very affordable pricing, the TVS Ronin is no doubt a perfect competitor for BMW superbikes as well.
