Along with the vanilla V23 5G, Vivo also launched the Pro model called the Vivo V23 Pro. The smartphone comes with a Dimensity 1200 processor, a 108 MP primary camera, and a curved AMOLED display. It is a rebranded version of the Vivo S12 Pro for the global market.

Design and Display
Vivo V23 Pro features a 6.54-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels. The display here supports HDR10+, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The phone measures thin and light with a thickness of just 7.36mm and a weight of 171g. It comes in two color options of Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold. The smartphone comes with a fluorite AG glass back, and the Sunshine Gold variant is claimed to change colors when hit by UV and sunlight.

Performance
The Vivo V23 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is also an Extended RAM 2.0 technology, which adds 4GB of virtual RAM to the smartphone.
On the software side, the smartphone runs on the Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12.

Camera
For optics, the triple rear camera setup consists of a 108-megapixel primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide with 120-degree FoV, and a 2MP macro sensor. Upfront is a 50-megapixel main and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera for selfies and video calls. There's also a dual-tone flash for brighter selfies, and the front camera can shoot 4K selfie videos as well. Other front camera features like AR cute shooting, sports capture, double exposure, dual-view video, and more are also available in the smartphone.

Vivo V23 Pro price in India starts at INR 38,990 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The first sale of the device is scheduled for 13th January in India. If the smartphone launches here in Nepal, we expect the price to be around Rs.68,000.
