Xiaomi has launched two new smartphones called the Xiaomi 11i 5G and 11i HyperCharge 5G in India. Both smartphones come with nearly the same specifications. The major difference between the two is their battery and charging capabilities. In this post, we will be looking at the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Xiaomi 11i 5G and 11i HyperCharge 5G in Nepal.
The Xiaomi 11i series are not entirely new phones. They are the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus, which are already available in the Chinese market. Xiaomi has not provided any information on whether the smartphones will arrive as Xiaomi 11i 5G and 11i HyperCharge 5G or Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro Plus in the Global and Nepali markets.

Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge Overview
Design and Display
Xiaomi 11i series feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display here supports a 120Hz fast refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, and is protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
The smartphone features a boxy design and a particularly small selfie camera punch-hole at just 2.96mm in diameter. It measures 8.3mm in thickness, weighs a maximum of 204 grams, and has an AG glass back with a matte finish.

Performance
Running on Android 11 based MIUI 12.5, both smartphones pack a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Additionally, the three-dimensional Vapor Chamber cooling system on the device keeps the chipset cool during long gaming sessions.

Camera
For optics, the Xiaomi 11i series has a triple camera setup at the back headlined by a 108-megapixel camera. The main camera here is backed by an 8MP ultrawide with 120-degree FoV and a 2MP macro camera. Upfront is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone can take a maximum of 4K@30fps videos.

Battery and Others
Battery and Charging speeds are the two factors where the two Xiaomi 11i series smartphones differ from each other. As the name suggests, the 11i HyperCharge supports a 120-watt fast charging with a 4500mAh cell. Xiaomi 11i on the other hand packs a larger 5160mAh battery, but the charging speed is limited to 67-watt.
Connectivity options on the device include 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, an USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also features dual symmetrical speakers with Dolby Atmos, but they are not tuned by JBL, like on the Redmi Note 11 Pro series.

Xiaomi 11i 5G price in India starts at INR 24,999 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model, while the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge starts at INR 26,999 for its base 6/12GB storage model. If the Xiaomi 11i and 11i HyperCharge launch here in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.45,000 and Rs.48,000, respectively.
