Xiaomi has launched its new mid-range smartphone called Xiaomi Civi in China. The device brings Snapdragon 778G Processor, a 120Hz OLED display, and 55-watt fast charging. Here, we will go through the specifications, features, availability, and expected price of the Xiaomi Civi in Nepal.

Design and Display

Xiaomi Civi features a 6.55-inch OLED display with 3D curved glass. This FHD+ display has a true 10-bit color. It supports HDR10+, a 120Hz fast refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and can reach a peak brightness of 950nits.

Xiaomi has slimmed down the phone to just 6.98mm. It is lightweight, weighing 166 grams. The Civi also gets a 2.55mm chin, which is the thinnest on any Xiaomi phone.

Performance

Moving on to the processor, the Xiaomi Civi features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset inside its slim body. The smartphone gives an option for up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. You will see Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 running the show on the software side.

The Snapdragon processor here is accompanied by a high-end Adreno 642L GPU, which supports Variable Rate Shading. There is also an intelligent 9-layers graphene temperature control system for cooling.

For optics, Xiaomi Civi has a triple camera setup at the back. It consists of a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide with 120-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. Upfront is a 32-megapixel autofocus lens for selfies and video calls.

Powering the device is a 4500mAh battery that supports 55-watt fast charging. There is an in-display fingerprint scanner for security. Furthermore, the phone packs Dolby Atmos-powered stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio certification.

Xiaomi CIVI Price and Availability

Xiaomi Civi Price in China starts at CNY 2,599 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Consumers in China can buy this Xiaomi mobile starting September 30. If the smartphone launches in Nepal, we expect the price to start around Rs.52,000. As of now, there is no information regarding its availability in the global market.
