Xiaomi’s POCO is now an independent brand

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO has been one of the popular highlights of the Chinese tech giant’s family. Since its first smartphone release, i.e. the Pocophone F1, it has truly been able to rest in the hearts of many smartphone enthusiasts. Packed with flagship hardware at a price of a mid-ranger, the Pocophone F1 was one of the most talked smartphones back days.
Well, now there is a piece of great news for Pocophone lovers as Poco has now become an independent brand. This actually means that it will be no longer a Xiaomi’s sub-brand while also leave the Xiaomi tag behind and be launched with its own brand i.e. Poco.
Xiaomi India CEO Manu Kumar Jain has recently confirmed this news on his latest tweet where he has addressed that POCO is now an independent brand while operating on its own from now on.

There were various rumors rumbling across the internet of Xiaomi launching the successor to Pocophone F1 which had excited most of the fans. Now it seems that the upcoming Pocophone will carry its own family name and debut with a brand new name, POCO F2.
