Kia Motors has recently teased its upcoming SUV- the 2024 Kia Seltos.
While the carmaker is making a good impression with the introduction of its popular wheels like Sonet and Carens, the update on its popular offering Seltos made a long pause.
Keeping an eye on this, the carmaker is finally launching the new facelift version of the Kia Seltos.
And as per recent reports, the company is planning on launching the new Seltos iteration by 2023.

2024 Kia Seltos Facelift
The facelift version of the new Kia Seltos was already unveiled in South Korea a few months ago.
Although the four-wheeler was all set to make its official debut at the 2023 Auto Expo in India, things couldn't go as expected. The updates in new BS6 Stage-2 norms in India effective from April 2023 have made the South Korean carmaker push its launch date.
As the new Seltos facelift is coming up with new features and design changes, the pricing of the car also needs to be verified and justified.
Features and Updates in 2024 Kia Seltos?
In terms of engine, the Korean-based Seltos is now offered two different engine options- a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine (147bhp power and 180Nm torque) alongside a 1.6L turbocharged unit with 195bhp power and 265Nm torque.
However, the model coming to India is expected to host different engine options compared to these ones.
Moreover, highlighting the design updates, the new Seltos facelift boasts new headlights with a DRL design.
Additionally, the LED tail lamps also sport an inverted design. Other highlights include new bumpers, a new set of alloy wheels, and prominent faux skid plates.
On the inside, the dashboard sports a single-piece curved display that houses both the infotainment system as well as the instrument cluster. To entice Kia fans, the Korean carmaker also adds a soft touch material to the car's dashboard, making it look more premium.
As per reports, the four-wheeler will make its official debut in India by April 2023. However, the prior launch of the four-wheeler can be witnessed in the US market before India, i.e. around December 2023.
Ongoing Kia Seltos Engine Options?
Highlighting the engine, the ongoing Kia Seltos is powered by a 1.5L Turbo Petrol Engine and a 1.5L Turbo Diesel Engine.
Coming on to the power performance, the base variant of the SUV delivers a power of 115bhp along with a max torque of 144Nm. Similarly, the top variant generates a max power of 140PS along with a peak torque of 242Nm.
Depending on the market, the Seltos is offered with up to three automatic transmission options to suit consumers’ needs and driving style - a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), a six-speed automatic transmission (6AT), and a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
