Asus reviles Zenfone 8 Flip | Comes with Snapdragon 888 and a Motorized Camera that can Flip Up

Asus has finally unveiled its Zenfone 8 Flip, which is the successor to the Zenfone 7 series. As the name of the device suggests, the smartphone is capable of flipping its back camera to act as a front camera. Starting with the design of the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip, the smartphone comes in a glass body with an aluminum frame. With dimensions of 165 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm, the device weighs 230 grams. You will see a horizontal camera module at the back and a notch-less display upfront. Asus was able to make the display notch-less because of the motorized camera module made out of Liquid Metal that can flip up to act as a selfie camera when you need one. 

Talking about the notch-less display, it’s a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED panel capable of a 90Hz refresh rate. With a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, the brightness of the display peaks at 1000 nits and is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. 

Moving on to the processor, the Zenfone 8 Flip is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset. You can pair the processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The device operates on ZenUI 8 on top of Android 11.
