The automobile sector continued to see a mixed bag of vehicle shipments from the factories to the dealers during the final month of the previous year. Although passenger vehicle sales were consistent, they decreased month over month (MoM).

Sales at Bajaj Auto Limited decreased considerably in December 2022. Due to a significant 80,984 unit volume de-growth, overall sales were down 22 percent YoY to 2,81,486 units from 3,62,470 units sold in December 2021.

Two-wheeler domestic and export sales both decreased, whereas CV sales experienced significant domestic market growth at the expense of exports.
