It is seen that the target customers of these 3 cars, which were introduced in this interval, are of three different price ranges. Well, which three electric cars are we talking about? Let's see.
Launched on Falgun 9th, the new Tata Tigor EV is attracting entry-level EV connoisseurs, while Hyundai Ioniq 5, launched around a week ago, is attracting high-class customers who want premium EV.
The MG ZS Facelift, another electric car launched three days after the launch of the Ioniq 5 on March 3, seems to be more popular among SUV connoisseurs.
Customers who purchase this car can be placed in the category of an auto connoisseur at a moderate level. This is because its price and available features are also mediocre compared to these three cars.
The Tigor EV with a 26 kWh battery pack is priced at Rs 30-33 lakhs in Nepal.
Similarly, the facelift model of MG ZS EV is available in 51 and 72 kWh battery packs. The value of which is set at Rs 52 lakhs and 60 lakhs respectively in Nepal.
Similarly, the price of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is equipped with a 58 kWh battery pack, has been fixed at Rs 80.96 lakhs and Rs 82.56 lakhs.

The new Tata Tigor EV was launched in India a few months back while it is also acquiring a great market share in India.

The 2021 Tata Tigor EV gets a range of 306 km on a single charge during the standard test. This range is certified by ARAI. However, under general conditions, the Tigor EV might go up to 250kms.
This new EV by Tata boasts a 26kWh battery pack which takes around 8 hours to fully charge using a 15A domestic socket.

2022 MG ZS EV (Best Mid-Range Electric Car in Nepal)
Paramount Motors, the official distributor of MG, has unveiled the facelift of MG's most successful electric model ZS. Facelift ZS EV has been made public by organizing an event on Sunday.
MG has made extensive changes to the battery in the new ZS. The ZS, which used to have a battery of 44.5 kWh, now has two battery options of 51.1 kWh and 72.6 kWh.
MG's ZS EV is the best-selling electric vehicle in Nepal. The new ZS EV Facelift has undergone extensive changes from the front fascia to the alloy wheels. The company has also revised its dashboard.
It features redesigned bumpers, new headlamps and taillamps, a body-colored front grille, a 10.1-inch infotainment system, rear AC vents, and i-Smart Connect car technology.
The 51-kilowatt-hour capacity battery will give a range of 400 kilometers on a single charge and the 72-kilowatt-hour capacity battery will give a range of 500 kilometers on a single charge. However, WLTP's road tests have shown that its small battery has a range of 319 km and its large battery has a range of 440 km.

The Ioniq 5 built on Hyundai’s new Electric Global Modular Platform [E-GMP], is one the Hyundai’s 45 concept cars unveiled in 2019. The perfect edge styling and design cues infused in the car make it an ideal premium electric vehicle.

However, in Nepal, the 58kWh battery variant is only available in the option.
