Joy E-Bikes Will Launch its Four Electric Bike Models in Nepal: Know All Variants, Price, and Launch date

The Joy e-bike is an electric two-wheeler manufactured in India. The company is offering electric bikes and scooters in Nepal for the first time. Those who want an electric bike rather than a scooter may find this to be interesting.

The three electric bikes will catch your eye even though the company also sells electric scooters. It sells bikes with both sporty and raw designs.

Four new electric bike models were shown by the company at the NADA Auto Expo 2022: the Beast, Hurricane, Skyline, and Thunderbolt. Within a month, all four versions of the Joy e-bikes will be introduced in Nepal by Mahabir Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the company's sole distributor.

Overview

The Joy e-bike models resemble traditional ICE-powered sports motorcycles in terms of design. A semi-faired body with a powerful tank and separate step-up seating is provided for the Beast and Hurricane. Additionally, the Skyline and Thunderbolt receive split-step-up seats and a full-faired body without a windscreen.

While the Beast and Hurricane models feature a 3.5-inch LCD screen, the Skyline and Thunderbolt variants have a 5-inch LCD display. Other prominent features of the bikes include:

A 5 kW DC Brushless HUB motor that produces 230 Nm of torque is included in Joy e-bikes. A 72V-72 Ah battery is provided for each of the three models, the Beast, Thunderbolt, and Skyline, while a 72V-66 Ah battery is provided for the Hurricane model. All variants have a top speed of 90 kph.

The batteries in the Joy e-bikes are protected from overvoltage, high/low temperature, and short circuits by a 10 amp smart charger. Depending on the type, the motorcycles have a range of 95–110 km when fully charged, and the vehicles can be fully charged in 8–9 hours.
