The GT line variant of Kia's famous electric crossover car EV-6 is coming to Nepal. According to Kia's official dealer Continental Trading, only the GT line variant of the EV6 will come to Nepal.
As per reports, the new Kia EV6 will arrive in Nepal by the end of March 2022.
The EV-6 that Kia is about to bring to Nepal is a very popular model all over the world. Hyundai Motor Group has developed Kia EV-6 and Hyundai Ioniq-5 on the same platform. Built on e-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform), this crossover is known for its excellent performance, freedom, and future-oriented design.
Kia EV6 in Nepal
Despite using the same platform, Kia and Hyundai have developed their EVs from different design studios. While Kia is targeting young customers, Hyundai aims to sell its EVs to mature customers.
Kia EV6 adopts its design from the Supercar Fast GT variant. It has a sporty hood and dual rear spoiler to make it look sporty.
The EV uses a 12-inch infotainment system display and a digital cluster. Kia EV6’s cluster is inspired by Audi.

Kia's Top of the Line Kia EV6 GT has 77.4 kWh of battery power and an all-wheel-drive option. Like a supercar, it churns out 576 hp of power and 730 Nm of torque. The car reaches a speed of 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds and its maximum speed is 183 kmph.
Kia has made safety a high priority in the car. It features Forward Collision and Blind Spot Assistant and Advanced Driver Assistance systems as standard features.
Moreover, it also has a grade 2 semi-autonomous system for highway driving. This allows the car to run on an advanced type cruise control system.
