Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 launching soon in Nepal- Expected Price, Features, Specifications?

The new 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 is slated to make its market debut in the coming days in Nepal through CG Motors, the company's authorized distributor of Suzuki automobiles in this nation.

It now has significantly better interiors, amenities, and engine choices. It is supported by Maruti's modular Heartect architecture. Here are its details, features, and anticipated cost in Nepal.

Design

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 features updated front and rear styling, new halogen headlights with a petal-like shape, and a honeycomb grille that emphasizes the front bodywork.

The rear bumper has a few distinct creases at the sides and an obvious black trim piece at the front, despite the lack of options for fog lights or LED DRLs. The tail lamp cluster at the back appears inspired by the recently released Maruti Suzuki Celerio.

Lift-up door handles are included on the new Alto K10, similar to the Celerio. Other noticeable features include a set of new 13-inch steel wheels with covers, square-shaped tail lamps, ORVMs completed in black, door handles painted the same color as the body, a new rear bumper, a modified hatchback, and more. 

Additionally, the cabin receives more updated features and technologies and is marketed as more significant than the Alto 800. The Alto K10 features a fully digital speedometer and an extensive touchscreen entertainment system.

Additionally, it has Bluetooth and music controls positioned on the steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster without a meter. On the dashboard, a new 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto stands out. 

The Alto K10 includes UBS ports, four speakers, and a central locking system. The revised version also has two accessory pack options and a CNG option. The new model's shape is more round than the old one, and it has a more noticeable haunch in the back than the old one did.

Performance

The new K10C 1.0-liter Dual-Jet petrol engine that powers the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 produces a peak power of 67 bhp and a maximum torque of 89 Nm.  It has a five-speed manual gearbox as standard equipment, regardless of whether it is an AGS or AMT unit.

Concerning the engine, the revised K10 achieves the smallest increase in the claimed fuel efficiency. In actuality, the Alto K10 currently has an official fuel economy rating of 24.39 kmpl for the manual and 24.90 kmpl for the AMT, which also has an idle-engine start/stop technology.

It is offered in four variants: Standard, LXi, VXi, and VXi+.
